Arai Helmet GP-6 RC FIA 8860-2010

Arai GP-6RC helmets are made from a proprietary weave of Carbon Fiber the GP-6RC helmet combines the existing light weight and and high strength benefits of Carbon Fiber with the added benefit of flexibility which standard Carbon Fiber does not possess. The flexibility of the GP-6RC's shell allow the helmet to flex on impact. This gives Arai the ability to produce a helmet ready for the demands and requirements of Formula 1 Racing. The GP-6RC helmet meets and exceed Snell and FIA 8860:2004 standards and every one is built to order.

GP-6RC Helmets Features:
-Large10mm intake and exhaust holes for increased airflow (front vents are closeable).
-New shield pivot hardware with redesigned track slider for improved aerodynamics.
-Wider eye port for increased peripheral vision.
-New positive shield locking mechanism provides solid shield latching.
-Factory installed HANS post with Arai logos, newly integrated seats for HANS posts provide a flat surface for the anchor to sit flush around its entire perimeter.
-Proprietary Carbon Fiber weave provides strong yet flexible shell.
-Arai 6 Series 3mm thick visor (not interchangeable with GP-5).
-Removable cheek pads (feature emergency release tabs for easy helmet removal in an accident).
-Approval: FIA 8860:2004 and NEW Snell SA2010.
-Includes: 1 clear A/F visor (installed), Arai Hans posts (installed), 1 spare tinted duct vent set & Arai PED aero kit (uninstalled).
